About this course:
The Fall 2022 Visiting Critic program offers in-depth feedback, exposure and connections with 4 respected artists and art world professionals. Class is led online via Zoom by Brigitte Mulholland, Director of Anton Kern Gallery in company with a strong group of artists and art world professionals from around the country. For 4 class meetings (Week 2-5) each Visiting Critic will introduce themselves with a brief talk about their work, followed by a Q+A. Next, artists in the class will present online slideshows of their artwork and prepare questions to receive feedback from Brigitte Mulholland, the Visiting Critic and peers. This program helps take one’s work, thinking and process in new and exciting directions. Omar Lopez-Chahoud, Ryan Wilde, Sean Fader and Paul Vogeler will join Brigitte Mulholland as Visiting Critics, and artist, Julie Curtiss, will join for the final class for an open forum Q+A discussion about the art world and life as an artist.
