The artists featured below were accepted to the 2024 year of The Canopy Program. Together, with the guidance of their Faculty Mentor, Rose Nestler, the artists will develop their studio practice through critiques, Artist Talks + Q&As, seminars, and workshops. The Canopy Program is a year-long commitment, this Cohort will meet virtually for three consecutive semesters. Their experience will culminate with a pop-up Group Show in Chelsea (NYC).

Fruit Salad is a group exhibition of ten artists that bridge geographies and ways of working, mentored over the past year by artist Rose Nestler. Like a classic fruit salad, this group brings together a cocktail of unique flavors, perspectives, styles, and techniques. Together, their works create a rich, intriguing and unexpectedly satisfying snack. Artists Amy Ash (NB, Canada), Brooklyn Buzzy (NY, USA), Alexandrya Eaton (NB, Canada), Shama Al Hamed (Abu Dhabi, UAE), Lindsay Kovnat (PA, USA), Jessica Chloe Malyshkin (HI, USA), Hayley Labrum Morrison (TX, USA/MI, USA), Trevor Nathan (NY, USA), Bonnie Paisley (OR, USA), and Seth Relentless (TX, USA) come together to present new work across a variety of mediums. Each contributes their own distinct ingredients of nostalgia, humor, generosity, and belonging with a dash of the uncanny. Join us in savoring these juicy delights at the opening reception on Thursday, January 9th, from 6–8 pm.
